Vox.Infold is a powerhouse vocal ensemble that uses traditional and emergent sonic practices to create compositions that express the vast spectrum of the human experience. This special project is a rare chance to experience their music in the form of a powerful immersive sound experience. Presented at the groundbreaking Lobe Spatial Sound Studio, and using Lobe’s 4DSOUND system, this is music not just as sound, but as a profound experience of space and dimension.
Vox.Infold is presented by Ruby Singh with musical luminaries Dawn Pemberton, Inuksuk Mckay, Russell Wallace, Tiffany Ayalik, Tiffany Moses and Shamik Bilgi. Evoking loneliness, joy, the mysterious and supernatural, they remind us that the voice is an adaptation of the metabolic activity most crucial to our existence – breathing.
Audience members are invited to book their visit in advance and select a time slot. For COVID safety protocols, we are offering individual bookings for solo attendance or by the household.
