Shakeela is a lawyer, facilitator, and advocate for women and youth. She serves on the board of the Enneagram Prison Project Canada and is Director, Gift and Estate Planning at the University of British Columbia. She also serves as Co-Chair of Membership for the International Women’s Forum Vancouver chapter. Her work challenges systems of harm while supporting healing, equity, and leadership that is both conscious and accountable.
