Pawan devotes herself to exploring the power of meaningful gathering through her work. She proposes that gathering itself is an art, and that joyful design cultivates togetherness and events that inspire purpose. For Pawan, connection is transformative, spaces and places can uplift, and art has the power to heal.  

As the former Director of Programming at Indian Summer, she oversaw programming, production and marketing and helped deliver one of the most successful festivals in its history. Before joining the Indian Summer team in 2019 as the Producer, she worked in TV and radio producing live TV specials, radio documentaries, music videos and commercials, bringing more representative storytelling to the forefront. She has written and produced several Leo award-winning films, including Unkept and Deeper I Go. She has a Master of Journalism degree from Carleton University.
