Minelle Mahtani
Minelle Mahtani is a Indian/Iranian Muslim former radio host, former TV producer at the CBC and is now professor at UBC where she is Head of Canadian Studies. Her memoir “May it Have a Happy Ending” was named one of Audible Canada’s top ten memoirs of the year and is shortlisted for the BC and Yukon Book prize for best non-fiction of the year. She was the award-winning radio host of “Sense of Place” at Roundhouse Radio 98.3 Vancouver and holds a Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee medal for best contributions for diversity in media. Her other books include “Mixed Race Amnesia” and “Global Mixed Race.”
