Kimmortal

Queer Filipinx artist Kimmortal navigates between singing and rapping over layered hip-hop beats, creating music with subversive energy and grounded vulnerability. Their third album Shoebox (2023) explores healing intergenerational trauma, celebrating the 2SLGBTQ+ community, and embracing their inner child. Their upcoming EP, sunniest of days (Jun 11, 2025), includes features from Shad, Super Duty Tough Work, and Junia-T, processing personal and collective grief while reflecting on how weird it is to be human, to exist, love, and create art during global crises.

Kimmortal’s music has earned prominent sync placements, including “This Dyke” in The L Word: Generation Q and “On My Way” in Apex Legends Season 19. Their original song for Sort Of won Best Original Song at the Canadian Screen Awards, and their “Blue and Orange” music video received Best Music Video at the Disorient Asian American Film Festival. Kimmortal has opened for artists like Thundercat, Saul Williams, and Shad K, and performed at SXSW, Junofest, NXNE, and more. This summer they look forward to performing shows and connecting with audiences across North America.
