Adrian Avendaño is a sound artist, improvising percussionist and recordist based in Vancouver, Canada [stolen First Nation territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) nations] of Peruvian and Chilean heritage. His work explores the connection between sound, space, and place through linear and non-linear time. His contributions can be seen in a diverse array of musical and sound art performances with local and international artists.
