Immigrant Lessons

Immigrant Lessons, founded by Kevin Fraser and Alyssa Amarshi is a dance/art collective created to promote cultural pluralism through dance, music, and fashion. They explore themes such as: sexuality, gender, feminism, racial discrimination, erasure, appropriation, shadism, toxic masculinity, and mental illness. Performances and collaborations include: Pattern Nation, Ted Talk, Junofest, Electronic Music Festivals, Vancouver Street Dance Festival, New Works, and collaborations with A Tribe Called Red and Juno-nominated SHAD.
