Akshara is the Festival Administrative Coordinator at Indian Summer, bringing her background in Business Administration and her interest in people management to her role. She enjoys working behind the scenes, supporting the team, and being part of an organization that brings people and communities together.

Her journey with Indian Summer began in 2022 as a Volunteer Coordinator. She later joined the team as an Administrator and has enjoyed growing with the organization ever since.

Originally from Kerala, India, Akshara now calls Vancouver home. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, finding joy in the little moments, and happily embracing her favourite role—being a mom.
