I’m Vinaya, the heart and soul behind Elaichi Patisserie. Inspired by my love for Indian flavors, I named my business after ‘Elaichi,’ which means cardamom – a spice that’s as versatile as it is fragrant, making it the perfect symbol for my unique creations. At Elaichi Patisserie, I create Indian-inspired French and Western-style pastries, cakes, and mousse cakes. I believe food connects us all, transcending language, culture, age, and nationality. This belief is at the core of Elaichi Patisserie, where I aim to spread love through every delicious creation. You can often find me sharing my passion at Vancouver farmers markets on most weekends as I love to connect with my customers.
