Tafui

Tafui, an artist, designer & curator is originally  from Kingston, Jamaica, she infuses her creations with a vibrant blend of culture and modernity. With a background in studio arts from Dawson College and Design Art from Concordia University, she seamlessly bridges disciplines and Known for her bold black and white abstract patterns.

Tafui’s portfolio spans fine art, surface pattern design, illustration, spatial and product design. As a former Art Director in advertising agencies, she brings a unique perspective to her craft. Now, she co-writes and lectures on branding and design, inspiring the next generation. 

Tafui’s work adorns public spaces in Ottawa, Vancouver, and her homeland, Jamaica, while her environmentally conscious home products grace private collections worldwide. Passionate about indigenous cultures and textile techniques, Tafui’s art is a testament to her boundless creativity and global influence.
