Priscila Uppal

Priscila Uppal is a Toronto poet, fiction writer, playwright, memoirist and York University professor. Among her publications are nine collections of poetry including Ontological Necessities (shortlisted for the Griffin Poetry Prize), the novels The Divine Economy of Salvation and To Whom It May Concern, and the memoir Projection: Encounters with My Runaway Mother (shortlisted for the $60,000 Hilary Weston Prize and the Governor General’s Award). Her work has been published internationally and translated into several languages. Time Out London dubbed her “Canada’s coolest poet.”
