Anita Anand

Anita Anand is an award-winning radio and television journalist. She is the presenter of Any Answers, the political phone-in programme on BBC Radio 4. During her twenty-year career, she has presented numerous shows on television and radio and has interviewed five Indian Prime Ministers, three from Pakistan, two from Great Britain and one from Bangladesh.

Anita is the author of the book Sophia: Princess, Suffragette, Revolutionary (which led to a 30-minute television documentary programme based on the book on BBC One). She is co-author with William Dalrymple of Koh-i-Noor: The History of the World’s Most Infamous Diamond. Her most recent book is The Patient Assassin: A True Tale of Massacre, Revenge and the Raj and relates to the Jalianwalla Bagh massacre of 1919.
